Doodle Doo Potatoes!!!

And you bought a ticket
But you don't know where you're going
And you won't tell me
For fear I'll follow suit
And you're tryin' to save me
From your past of bad decisions
But my decision's always gonna be
To follow you
                              - The Script, Glowing!

I love Ireland. I really enjoyed the 9 days I spent traveling it previously and wanted more! So thanks to a long weekend, we headed back to Dublin for an amazing taste of the Irish spirit.

Saturday morning in Dublin.
And despite the tempting offer of a full Irish breakfast I hadn't been there long enough to down 4 Guinness' first thing in the morning.

No matter how good Guinness is for me, I'm opted for Blueberry scones

in a quirky cafe, Queen of Tarts.

After a delicious breakfast it was time for some sight seeing.

The stable walls were put up to hide the ghetto when Queen Elizabeth came to visit. Trying to convince her horses were kept behind the walls.

The field in front where President Obama landed for his Dublin visit.

Just next door is the Chester Beatty Library.
A museum voted number 3 of European Museums of the Year.

Manuscripts, miniature paintings, prints, drawings, rare books and decorative arts complete this amazing collection, all collected by one man - Sir Alfred Chester Beatty!

Egyptian papyrus

Hindu Painting, all the animals inside the main animals represent evil or good spirits.

A piece of the Gospel of John.

Then we headed to the markets

where we fitted in perfectly and decided to eat!

Cronut - a croissant doughnut, it tasted like heaven, delicate and so sweet!

A walk down The temple area and a visit to the crowded Temple Bar.

One of the times I got lost in the city I found a beautiful mosaic mural along a wall.

Hanging out with my mate Oscar Wilde and later at his house!

And with that I am going to love and leave you.

Have some drinks eat a little and enjoy your taste of Ireland!
