Another dose of family time - I'm addicted!

I used to be the type of kid that would always think the sky is falling
Now I think the fact that I'm differently wired's awesome
'Cause if I wasn't I wouldn't be able to work
Words like this and connect lines like crosswords
And use my enemy's words as strength
To try and draw from, and get inspired off em

I really can't complain. Considering I have been on 23 flights since leaving Sydney in 2013 and this is the first time I have not left on time. However, waiting 5 hours at the airport for a flight that after several delays gets canceled is horrid! Though, my Bible study leader told me on a trip to Australia he was left in China's Airport for 18hours and he couldn't leave because, he didn't have a visa.

So, instead of leaving on Friday night I left Sunday morning. Because, who could stay away from a cousin like this...

So one hour after being picked up from Wien Airport here I am sitting in the VIP section inside a Circus tent in waiting for the traditional Austrian Circus to begin. And who else am I told is sitting in the VIP section but an Austrian Porn Star and an Austrian Prince.
WELCOME BACK TO VIENNA JOEY BABY!!!

I heard his voice constantly throughout my visit, my cousin Roman would ask, "Joey, what are you taking a picture of?"

My reply depended on the focus inside my lens but always resembled "This detailed church/this astonishing building/this breathtaking statue"

He looked at me, almost pondering my reply, searching it for meaning, "But it's just a normal one, not one of the special ones."

I guess Europeans will never truly understand how the ancient wonders they pass everyday truly are beautiful to the Australian traveller, their ordinary is my extraordinary. These are some of the 'ordinary' things I captured this visit.

And the one I did walk pass without taking a photo…yea, that’s Mozart’s house.

There are few things in this world that tempts me but the one thing that I can never get enough of is Chocolate. So when offered a visit to an Austrian Chocolate Factory you know I’m there. Though it’s no Milka or MozartKugel, the locals boast about Zotter chocolate. The factory is located outside Vienna in Riegersburg.

The Company is Fair Trade (YAY) and boasts every flavour you could imagine in every variety you could imagine.

The fun we had walking through and trying chocolate after chocolate…even I had to stop close to the end and turn down a few flavours.

On the property the creator Josef Zotter has set up an edible farm. Where he breeds and nurtures animals to feed his hungry employees and visitors to the on site restaurant.  On the property the creator Josef Zotter has set up an edible farm. The site also has a cemetery, yes, I’m serious you can walk through a cemetery. A cemetery full of all the chocolate flavours that didn’t last and were eventually killed.

It really was a great day!

On this trip I also got to visit Hundertwasser house.

These apartments in Vienna were designed by Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, whose pen-name was Friedrich Stowasser. I have to say as soon as I saw it I thought of you Kimjeng! I think you would love it. I was even in awe as I walked around and viewed it. There is definitely something magical about it.

Throw in ice skating with a maze outside Town Hall...

 delicious food...

and birthday cocktails...

and you have my amazing week in Vienna!

Rain check on hugs, kisses and screaming,

Cheers to that!
